MESSAGE FROM OUR POLICE CHIEF - NON-EMERGENCY 911 CALL CENTER
Many citizens have expressed concerns about using “911” for non-emergency reporting of code violations or other non-emergency communication with Kure Beach Police. The New Hanover County 911 center provides a number that will serve this purpose. It is a non-emergency number that goes directly to the 911 center and will be answered by a 911 operator. I encourage all residents to utilize this number, 910-452-6120, when reporting non-emergency events or to request a police response to a non-emergency matter. For Kure Beach Police administrative matters, the local Kure Beach Police phone number, 910-458-7586, should be used.
